PLN Gala Auction Item

Last year we offered an auction item during the PLN gala: a trip around Rotterdam with the Revolt Comfort 47, including lunch at restaurant Yolo. We had the privilege of organizing this unique experience.

PLN Gala Auction Item

The auction item consisted of a round trip on the Rotterdam, including lunch. This item was auctioned on November 9 during the PLN gala. Funds were raised for research into the disease PLN and for the development of affordable treatments for this condition. PLN is a hereditary gene mutation that causes the heart muscle to function improperly.

Trip with Revolt Comfort 47

After the gala, it was our responsibility to execute the auction item as well and thoughtfully as possible. Our goal was to provide our guests with an unforgettable day on the water. We got in touch with the person who purchased the auction item, and together we decided to  do the trip on August 3. In the morning, we welcomed our guests at the Strijensas Marina. After a pleasant introduction to the group, consisting of a father and his four sons-in-law, we were ready to depart. We set off over the Hollands Diep towards the Oude Maas, and then into the port of Rotterdam.

Lunch at Yolo

Next, we went to the center of Rotterdam, where we admired the skyline with the Erasmus Bridge. Our destination was the Boerengat, where we enjoyed lunch at restaurant Yolo. Our guests were warmly welcomed and treated to a delicious and extensive lunch with a view of the harbor. Nothing was lacking. With full stomachs, we returned to the Revolt, ready for the journey back. We sped back with great joy, with expressions of admiration on our guests’ faces for the capabilities of the Revolt Comfort 47, equipped with an impressive 3x 600 hp.

Conclusion

Back at the Strijensas Marina, we said goodbye to the group. We tidied up the boat, returned it to the lift. With a sense of satisfaction, we concluded the day, happy to have ensured that our guests had a special, carefree, and enjoyable day on the water, filled with beautiful new memories.
